The Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board certified or board eligible otolaryngologist to join the division as assistant professor, associate professor or professor in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. We are particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in pediatric airway and sleep.
- The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
- The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful applicant should have an MD or an MD/PhD degree, or the equivalent; fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology; and a passion for teaching and research.
We expect the successful candidate to participate in tertiary care of children in state-of the art facilities. The candidate will also participate in building clinical and research programs and will teach students, residents, and fellows.

The expected base pay range for this position is
Assistant Professor: $300,000 - $312,000
Associate Professor: $327,000 - $339,000
Professor: $358,000 - $364,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
