Clinical Investigator in Hodgkins Lymphoma

Stanford University School of Medicine, the Stanford Cancer Institute, and the Division of Oncology, Department of Medicine invite applications for a faculty position in Hodgkin Lymphoma at the level of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor, in the University Medical Line (UML). Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified or eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.  The successful candidate should have a record of accomplishment in clinical care and teaching, and a focused area of interest/expertise in lymphoma, specifically Hodgkin Lymphoma. 

 

The major criteria for appointment in the UML shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.  Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

 

It is expected that the successful applicant will develop an academic program related to translational clinical research or outcomes/survivorship research related to lymphoma.  Competitive salary support, and startup funds are available for this position. Candidates will be preferred who have demonstrated the ability or shown the potential to obtain peer reviewed research funding. Collaborations with colleagues in related clinical and basic science disciplines are important aspects of this position.
