Scientific Director, Center for Pediatric IBD and Celiac Disease Stanford University
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks a qualified, visionary, and collaborative M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or Ph.D scientist or physician-scientist to join the faculty as Associate or Full Professor in the University Tenure Line, University Medical Center, or Non-Tenure Line (Research) and serve as Scientific Director of the Stanford Medicine Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) & Celiac Disease. The successful applicant will lead their own independent research program with high potential impact for pediatric IBD and/or celiac disease and develop the scientific vision and strategy for the Center with the Director. Relevant fields of research include, but are not limited to, mucosal immunology, microbiology, epithelial biology, computational biology, genomics, epidemiology, and data science. Joint or courtesy appointment in a secondary department may be considered for appropriately qualified candidates.
