Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Non-Tenure Line (Research), Department of Surgery Stanford University
The Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University seeks qualified candidates to fill two positions to further expand our translational research program and join the Department of Surgery/Division of General Surgery as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Non-Tenure Line (Research). We are particularly interested in candidates who have established research focused on intraoperative molecular imaging, immuno-oncology/immunotherapy or more broadly translational cancer biology, sepsis and inflammation, and stem cell and regenerative medicine.

The School of Engineering (https://engineering.stanford.edu/) at Stanford University invites applications for an all-ranks faculty search, with an appointment as tenure-track assistant professor, tenure-track or tenured associate professor, or tenured full professor in the School of Engineering. The primary departmental home of the appointee will be in one of the departments in the School of Engineering (https://engineering.stanford.edu/faculty-research/departments). Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a Ph.D. in the advertised field or a closely related one. They must be leading research scholars, with a proven track record of identifying ethical and societal challenges in engineering and creating explicit frameworks to address those challenges in the design of engineered systems. Ideally, these frameworks are useful for others and contribute to a literature on ethics in engineering or engineering and society.
