The Department of Statistics at Stanford University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured appointment at any rank and in any area of Statistics or Probability, broadly understood. Applicants should have demonstrated strong research abilities and exhibit a commitment to teaching and mentoring. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline at the time of appointment and will be expected to teach and advise students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The appointment is expected to begin on September 1, 2024.

The salary range for this position is $138,000 - $300,000, for academic year 2023–24.

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget availability, and internal equity.
