The Division of Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks board certified/eligible pediatric hematology applicants who can contribute to the Division’s clinical and research enterprise at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the University Medical or Clinician Educator lines.
- The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
- The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Excellent opportunities for clinical research and clinical program development are available with a clinical focus in pediatric hematology. This recruitment supports an ongoing initiative in the Department of Pediatrics to expand the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine and its research and clinical programs.
The successful applicant should have clinical experience in pediatric hematology and an interest in program development. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in hemoglobinopathies and other red cell disorders, vascular anomalies, bone marrow failure, or histiocytic disorders.A successful candidate will have experience in developing and guiding clinical and translational research programs in pediatric hematology and a record or potential of successful collaboration and mentorship.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $198K - $222K
Associate Professor: $246K - $270K
Professor: $290K - $370K
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
