The Division of Neuroimmunology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a neurologist with fellowship training in Neuroimmunology and/or Autoimmune Neurology to join the Department as Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.
The major criterion for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate should have an MD degree or equivalent (MD, MD-MA/MS/MPH, MD-PhD) with or without additional graduate training.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the diagnosis and management of immune-mediated and neurological disorders of the central nervous system, who have been inspiring medical educators with experience in clinical trial execution and collaborative translational research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic, integrated academic practice in the service of the division’s critical missions in clinical care, teaching, and research; fellowship training in Neuroimmunology and /or Autoimmune Neurology; a track record of inspirational teaching; collegiality, humility, and respect in team dynamics; a working familiarity with clinical trials execution; an ability to engage in novel scholarship; and an interest in the creation, growth, and leadership of interdisciplinary ventures between Neurology and immune-mediated disorders.
Responsibilities are expected to include clinical subspecialty practice, clinical education, and an active interface with research in Neuroimmunology.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $230,000 - $248,000
Clinical Associate Professor: $260,000 - $278,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
