The Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified neurologist to join the Department as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.
The major criterion for appointment as a Clinician Educator is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
The successful applicant should have an MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, board certification and residency in pediatric or adult neurology, and fellowship training in neuro-oncology, neurocritical care, or neuroimmunology. We seek a broad applicant pool that is anchored by knowledge and expertise in neurology and critical care. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in neuro-immuno-oncology (NIO) – managing neuro-inflammation and immunotherapy for central nervous system (CNS) tumors.
Responsibilities include attending on NIO service, caring for patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, providing clinical care for children and young adults with CNS cancers receiving CAR T cell therapy and children with non-CNS cancers who have neurological complications of CAR T cell therapy; participating in clinical research endeavors focused on immunotherapy for CNS tumors; and educating clinical fellows and residents in the management of patients receiving immunotherapy for CNS cancers. The position is based in the Division of Child Neurology, and will work in a team setting, bridging neurology, neuro-oncology, pediatric oncology, critical care, and neurosurgery.

The expected base pay range for this position is $240,000 - $258,000.
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
