Movement Disorders CE Search Neurology Stanford University
The Division of Movement Disorders in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board certified Neurologist to join the Department as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the Clinician Educator Line. The successful applicant should have ABPN Board Certification, at least a two-year Movement Disorders Fellowship, or equivalent, currently being completed or previously completed, clinical experience and expertise diagnosing and treating a wide range of movement disorders, be able to perform botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders, perform assessments to determine eligibility for neuromodulation interventions, such as Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound, and perform Deep Brain Stimulation programming. We are particularly interested in candidates who have clinical trials or clinical research experience, including performing clinical research assessments.

The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment, including a doctoral degree with a focus in the area of English language arts and/or the conduct of teacher education in secondary English language arts. Applicants are strongly preferred to have prior classroom experience at the secondary level. Further, the candidate should have expertise in various aspects of youth literacy development; these could include and are not limited to literature, writing, disciplinary-based literacy, literacy in different contexts, impacts of technology.
Assistant Rank Faculty Position in Promoting Learning in Early Childhood Stanford University Pacific Daylight Time
Stanford’s Graduate School of Education is seeking an early career (untenured) faculty member whose work focuses on studying developmental and/or contextual experiences that promote learning, broadly defined, in early childhood. For example, the work could focus on family interactions and home experiences; early childhood care and education programs, settings, and curricula; and teaching strategies and everyday classroom experiences. The work could include approaches such as identifying and assessing relevant skills and processes, and/or creating, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of new intervention programs. Applicants should focus on learning from birth through early elementary school (PreK-G3). Preference will be given to applicants who consider issues of equity and include children from historically underrepresented or underserved groups. The faculty member will contribute to the new Stanford Center on Early Childhood and applicants should be eager to collaborate across disciplines within the Stanford Graduate School of Education and across other Schools and Institutes on campus. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and advise students at the graduate level.
