The Division of Comprehensive Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Stanford University seeks a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist to join the Department as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line.

The major criterion for appointment as a Clinician Educator is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The successful applicant should have an MD or equivalent, be board-certified or board-eligible (ABPN), and must have or obtain a California medical license.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have fellowship training, or other background, in a neurology subspecialty, such as Headache, Comprehensive/General Neurology, Movement Disorders, Neurobehavioral/Dementia, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular or Clinical Neurophysiology. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities will include care of general and subspecialty neurology patients, and teaching of medical students, residents and clinical fellows. Faculty will work in our hospital and clinics at Stanford Health Care TriValley in Pleasanton, California. Opportunities are available to participate in research, quality improvement, and development of innovative care programs.
