invites applications for several tenure-track faculty appointments at the junior level (Assistant or untenured Associate Professor). We seek exceptional applicants who will conduct innovative research, contribute to undergraduate teaching, and develop specialized graduate courses. Outstanding candidates in all areas of mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply. The Department has identified the broad areas of energy and environment, human health, and robotics and autonomy as high priority, and seeks research and scholarship which will advance solutions to the challenges in
An earned Ph.D., evidence of the ability to pursue a program of research, and a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching are required. A successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to mentor a team of graduate students in Ph.D. research.
